Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician. Corr debuted in 1990 as her lead vocalist in the Celtic folk rock and pop rock band The Corrs along with her three siblings, Caroline Sharon and Jim. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland and is a singer-songwriter, musician, and actor. The honor she received was that of being a member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) and is better known as one of the Celtic folk-pop group The Corrs. As the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist of The Corrs, Andrea is their leader. Andrea was first introduced to acting at the age of 21 in. Since she began, Andrea has developed into an accomplished musician and stage performer. She was an accompanying singer in the 1998 Warner Bros. animated film The Quest for Camelot. Six studio albums, two compilation albums, two live albums, and a remix album under her belt, Andrea has truly established herself as a multifaceted artist. Her work was recognized by her charitable work. Andrea is married with two children to her stockbroker. Andrea's first lesson in music was to master the Tin horn. Gerry introduced her to playing piano. Andrea performs the Ukulele. The teenage years were spent working on her technique. She would sing with her brothers and eventually earned the position as the singer in charge of the band. Andrea was a student at Dun Lughaidh Convent and was a part of numerous school plays.
